How Our Player Development System Works
We train four measurable performance areas.
Our algorithm produces target areas and we track progress over time.
Four Performance Areas We Train
What it trains
- Intent-driven swing speed and ability to do damage.
What gets measured
- Bat Speed - Maximum, Average, and top 1/8th in different environments
What improves
- A player's Bat Speed floor. Their ability to use more power with their regular swing
How progress is tracked
- Rolling 50–100 swing averages and session-to-session trends.

About Me.
Hey, I’m Johnny Bartel.

I’m a data analyst and former Blast Motion Advanced Engineering team member who’s spent years working on the tools that power elite player development. But I’m also a coach and instructor who believes that the best hitters combine feel and feedback.

After working behind the scenes at Blast, I realized a lot of players and coaches have access to incredible data—but no simple way to understand or use it. That’s where this service comes in.
I now help local players and teams break down their swing data into clear, customized reports. Whether it’s bat speed, plate discipline, contact skills, or ball flight, my goal is to make the numbers easy to understand—and even easier to improve.

If you’re a player who’s serious about getting better, or a parent or coach who wants to make sure your athletes are developing with purpose, you’re in the right place.

I use real tools, real data, and real feedback to help hitters level up—one swing at a time.
